Great American Rentals is a great place to rent whether it be storage or living. The owners are curtious, understanding & punctual at rectifying any problems that may arise & need addressed. If you dont send in your rent check & lie the owners will not be happy about this, (Nicole Winkles) however they are willing to work with people on issues/problems that may arise. Due to rent fees being more than fair, it is stated in the lease agreement that a window air conditioner is the renters responsibility if it were to break ( Nicole Winkles) I have rented for 2 years & am very happy here....
We rented a storefront from them. The hot water broke shortly after moving in and after 6 months of asking it to be fixed it was not. When we turned on the window unit the first day it didn't work. When I called the landlord he said tat it wasn't his responsibility. So I put my own brand new unit in and returned his broken one and he accused me of stealing the side vents from his old junk unit. The owner refused to give me a copy of my lease. They sent me a letter asking for my rent plus late fee AFTER they had cashed my check for rent that was on time. When I called to rectify the situation the owner screamed at me over the phone like a lunatic. The most unprofessional slumlords I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
